Diagnosis and management of some common oral mucosal lesions |
Accurate diagnosis of any lesion of the mouth and jaws is essential for patient care as it determines the most appropriate treatment. Using case scenarios, this seminar will review some relatively common oral mucosal lesions the general dental practitioner is likely to encounter. Participants will learn how to develop an appropriate differential diagnosis, what steps are required to determine the definitive diagnosis, and how to manage the condition.
