I would like to welcome you to the Halton Peel Dental Association (HPDA) website. The HPDA is a component society of the Ontario Dental Association. Our main objectives are to support our members and to provide an organized voice for dentistry. We are here to support the dentists in Mississauga, Oakville, Georgetown, Milton and Brampton. The Halton Peel Dental Association represents upwards of 700 dentists and is the largest component society in Ontario.
Our aim is to:
- Provide quality continuing education. We organize several evenings throughout the year to provide cutting-edge information in various dental disciplines.
- Provide a community where dentists can meet to discuss current dental or political issues, or just take the opportunity to socialize with other members of the profession.
- Represent the dentists in Halton Peel at the ODA General Council, and within our community.
- Create a forum, such as this website, where the dentists of HPDA can interact with their fellow colleagues.
I invite you to peruse the features of our website. Please look at our calendar highlighting upcoming events. We have created a variety of continuing education evenings – which will provide you with a chance to hear current concepts in and around dentistry and to get together with old and new colleagues. As well, if there are topics that you would find of particular interest, we welcome your suggestions.
Also, be sure to look at a few new features of our website. We have a blog that you can participate in for real time interaction. Webinars are available for continuing education. We plan to have a study club to facilitate interaction amongst our members.
